what will you do to get over the disappointment?

So I just received my email from the team. Dreams of an FO need to be put on hold for a period of time (months? years? who knows?). All I know is that one day I will own one.

Anyway, to dull the pain of disappointment, I was wondering what everyone was planning on buying. For my part I have just placed an order for a Dornbluth 99.1. I know, I'm a sucker for a long wait. Expecting a delivery sometime in November.

    What will you do?

Either a vintage Rolex GMT Master or a Stowa Marine Original. I'm still going to hang out for the FO however, I am convinced that one way or the other, some time in the future, Joerg will find a way to produce more watches.

I think to find this piece would be not easy plus its cost almost three times more than FO. You would be better just buying that FO for $2800.

Considering an Airman without logo for the time being
that's what i am going to do..
I like the FO serial a lot but for the time it is going to be postponed for god knows when
But that's life and life is filled with up's and down's and unforseen situations
Let's hope StoWa will come up with something soon
    ahdave's collection : German 4 (a) Stowa Marine Original~October 2009
    (b) Stowa Antea Klein Sekunde with SS strap~December 2011 (c) Flieger Baumuster B Handaufzug 2801~December 2011
    (d) Stowa Chronograph 1938 polished with SS strap~October 2012
    SWISS 1 : ORIS TT3 day-date (Hospitalized now)

Current Year Shortlist : (a) Schauer Chronograph Edition09 *thinking* (b) Nomos Glashütte Zürich *Consideration* (c) LACO Pilot 42 Manual winding type B
    (d) Steinhart NavB Chrono *low*

I think Stowa will show up with an alternative. There are a lot of people who want such a watch, it is for Stowa a (financial) opportunity not to be missed.

While I am waiting... Nomos Tangente? Another Meistersinger? Or something completely different, p.e. Damasko or Sinn?

MOLEII for me. But really they're very different watches and the FO remains my elusive grail. In this current t-shirt/polo weather in the UK, I can't think of anything that'd go better.

The single-hand models are from 1000 usd to 2500 usd. The handwind w/ glass back is 1000 usd - same as MO/FO (though 2801 movement obviously not as nice)

The scrypto/1z (this is unitas sans swanneck?) is higher, but someone has been trying to swap his for <1000 usd for a while

i just went pass my 4th timeline without notice again

I do not remember seeing it for sale specially at ridiculous $1000. Can you provide link? I can’t find anything on any watch forum.
