There are two sides to everything. I think it's helpful to be unbiased regardless of the forum. I've given plenty of positive experiences in this particular forum if a particular model warrants it... the flieger just happens to not be one of those models for me. Glad it fits you perfectly, but obviously wrist sizes vary.

If a watch is too small for me, I'm going to say so. If it's too large, I'm going to say so. If it fits just right, I'm going to say so. Those are my personal experiences with them, and I have the right to share those experiences. That's what these forums are all about.

Who wants a forum where people just blindly praise every model of that company? It's not very realistic and not helpful for people looking for various feedback.
Sorry I didn't mean for you to read it as a general comment on your posts, I find your posts contribute a great deal to many threads on here, and it isn't for me to judge what you write anyway.
It is just the regularity of the comment about the flieger that I was commenting on. There are several Stowa watches that I feel are made in too large a size but I don't feel it adds anything to say so every time they are mentioned. Apologies if you found my comment personal.

No apology necessary. Was just trying to make certain you knew that I wasn't downing the flieger in general, just for me personally, and only in that one way. Hard to interpret feelings through a computer, so I wasn't sure if you were trying to say I had nothing but negativity towards the watch which I don't.

I understand what you're saying about the regularity of my posts about the Stowa flieger size. You are right, and I would have been sick of hearing it yet again at this point too. I'll make an effort to scale back on the topic.

Personally, I don't mind a bigger size flieger, current size is just nice for my 7 inch wrist, but a bigger one will give me the attention and less formal. On top of the current size, I think stowa can have a bigger size flieger to take on the Laco, I'm sure it will be competitive enough to pinch sales from Laco. As for a smaller flieger... Haha dunno, anything below 40, is unfavorable by me, it just look small on my wrist, but then, why not? If not permanent? Just make it LE. Off course, i assume many things need to B consider e.g production line, parts etc.

Still, flieger is the most popular range here, undisputable. Haha

Gotta keep it more competitive, so I vote Marine.

Frequency of votes decreasing now - I think we almost have a result...

For those on Tapatalk, current positions:
    Flieger 26, Marine 17, Antea 16, Seatime/Prodiver 7, Partitio 1, TESTAF/GMT 0

So far comfortable gold for the flieger, but very close for silver between Antea and Marine

So far, its rather clear that the vintage ranges outscore the modern ranges.

You're right--they are! The problem is (if you want to call it a problem) that most of what Stowa sells is popular, so relatively speaking the divers just aren't quite as popular.

My favorite is the seatime from the Stow lineup. I am on Tapatalk and cannot vote in the poll.

    Runner up to the Flieger.
