who has had good results having their Stowa overhauled in the NY/NJ area?

I have a 9 year old Flieiger and I suppose it would be good to have it overhauled. Barring sending it back to Germany, who have people had good results with in having there watch serviced?

I'm wondering the same for my Marine Automatic (Soprod A10) and Antea B2B (ETA 7001). They are a few years old, not ready for OH yet, but I'd love to have the name of a reliable watchmaker.
    Thanks!

A little out of your territory but...I've had good experiences with The Watchmaker in Stoneham, MA. (They have a pretty thorough website.) I recently brought my Marine 2801 in for some minor service. They actually get Stowas in from time to time, and have a good relationship with them as far as ordering parts when needed.
There's nothing special about servicing these watches, but this place is very competent and professional. Prices are so-so. I'd only send something back to Stowa if it was a warranty issue.

See the bottom of this page:
"Watchuseek recommends RGM Watch Repair & Restoration, experienced in New and Vintage Mechanical Watches."
Last Feb I sent my Stowa Flieger 6498 to RGM (PA-USA) for polish and crystal replacement. Excellent work....they do take a few weeks though.
