Question Winding questions - new Marine Original owner

I have tried to find the answers in the FAQ, with no success. I just received my new Marine Original, and am very pleased with it.

How many winds from "no power" (watch stopped), should be made to bring the watch up to good power for the day?

How many winds each day should be done?

When you wind, should you wind back and forth (clockwise then counterclockwise), or just forward only (clockwise only)?

Can you damage the watch by winding too much, or is there some mechanism that woud prevent over-winding?

    Thanks sin advance

I believe mine takes about 30 to 40 turns to fully wind. Wind it clockwise until the crown stops turning.

    Mr. Browning is correct,

Wind the watch until it stops! I was afraid to over wind and found that on several occassions the watch stopped within a twenty four hour period! I now wind fully, and the watch performs beautifully!

Until you feel resistance. Do not wind any further.
    Kind regards
