7S26 Stopped Working after Hand Swap

So I did a simple hand swap on a Seiko 5 with a 7s26 movement and when I put it back into the case, it stops running. I take it out of the case and it works, but as soon as it snaps back into the case it stops. I tried it with and w/o the stem in it, no difference. Upside down or right side up, no difference. I do notice that when the case is together and I pull on the crown from the set position it will run but when I let go it stops. WTF!!

    HELP!
