ANyone try putting an automatic movement into a Kinetic case?

I have an extra 4r36 handy and was thinking of buying a demo watch to put the movement in, but unsure if it's even possible. I would think that the kinetics would be the best bet as they are similar. I can't find anything on these movements as far as size and stem height.

Currently doing this myself! Got the dial and hands from Dragonshroud, double domed crystal fron Cousins (didn't think that there was enough room with a flat one). Had to shave a bit of the movement spacer with a sharp knife to make space for the base of the push button (quite easy actually). However, I need to find a way to raise the back case slightly to allow the weight to rotate freely. When I figure that one out I'll let you know!
