Help with changing crown and stem on Seiko 7002 Dive watch

Looking for some help on replacing the crown & stem on my 7002. I found the leaver and removed the old stem but then pushed it back all the way in without pushing the leaver in and now the leaver is not visible and crown goes in and comes out freely and did not lock itself in. Obviously now I can't set the time or the date. Any way to fix this problem now?

I was going to reply to your request for help because the title indicates an easy fix. I think you may have messed up the keyless. Each movement "likes" to have the stem removed in its own way ie the position of the stem when you remove it. If removed when the stem is in the wrong position then you can cause trouble that involves the keyless. This I know, beyond that not so much.....
    sorry
