    SNK809 crown removal help?

I'm updating the movement on an SNK809 and everything was going smooth until trying to remove the crown from the stem to swap over to the new stem.

It just won't come off. I read a little about heating it up to break the locktite but it kills the rubber gaskets... So not a great option.

    Any other suggestions or opinions?
I also can't seem to find any for sale online. Just the crown. No stem.
    Thanks

    :)
New to watches and wasn't sure that was easy enough to do without ruining them. Guess I'll have to give it a try.
    Thanks

Do you see threads on the stem where it goes into the crown? If not, it is a one piece unit and will not come apart. I can't see on my SNK without taking it apart.
