Piaget - Help identifying and opinions

    Hello everybody,

I am relatively new to the forum (barely some months ago) and this is my first post. My father inherited a Piaget manual wind watch from my grandfather and I would really like to know what are your thoughts about it, since all the information will be very valuable to try to understand better what is this piece all about (authenticity, durability, accuracy, reliability, heritage, etc.).

Likewise, I would appreciate if you could help me to identify the watch as well as its movement (I believe it is a P12, but I am not sure). This is the watch:

I apologize. Accidentally clicked "submit thread" without attaching the pictures. I already sent the new thread. Maybe the administrator will find better to eliminate this one.

Movement, as it says - 9P1, looks good, I suspect it's way past time for servicing.

Yes, indeed. I already left it with the watchmaker for a full service. It has been stored for decades. Hopefully it will last a long time. Any additional thoughts on the watch, including the brand? (reliability, durability, accuracy, etc.)
