    Gustav Becker Westminster Chime clock?

    Hi all,
I have recently inherited a wall clock that we know nothing about. It is very similar to some Gustav Becker Westminster chime clocks I saw on ebay and has the GB Silesia mark inside.
Are these valuable? Are they easily verified as genuine? Is anyone familiar?
    I can post photos.

I am not aware of those clocks being faked. They were made from 1850 until about 1935. A serial number on the movement can identify the age. Does yours use springs or weights for power? The realized prices of similar clocks on Ebay is the best indicator of value. Becker clocks are well made and attractive. Post some pictures and the serial number when you get a chance.
