(New to me) Junghans wall clock

First time posting in this forum but couldn't resist after a recent eBay purchase.

Always loved the Max Bill designs from Junghans and got a good deal on a used one. Great condition except a couple of very minor scuffs on the brushed edge near 1 o'clock but not at all noticable once on the wall.

Please excuse the photo quality. Taken on my phone on this dull afternoon.

Looks great! What movement is in there? Age? Price?

Love that dial and hands. Radio or "atomic" updating of the movement?

Just a basic quartz clock movement as far as I am aware. To be honest I was only I terest in the design aspect of it.

Age wise it's only a few years old but the design dates back to the 50s if I remember correctly. Bought it for a little over £100 which is quite a lot but they retail at around £275 so I think I got a good deal.

Me too, always have done. I was surprised to see one come up for sales as I don't recall seeing one for a long time, if ever.

    The movement is RC.
