I found out this watch has mineral crystal glass, is it really that prone to scratches? or is it still good, but not as good as sapphire?

Yep, prone to scratches but not expensive to be replaced. For small scratches use polyWatch. Sapphire crystal is always the better choice methinks.
    Kind regards
