Can’t close clasp on new Hugo Boss watch

Hi everyone, I just bought a new Hugo Boss watch (from eBay - preowned but never used). I cannot seem to close the clasp on the watch band. See the YouTube video - no matter how hard I press on it to lock, it always falls back open. Am I doing something wrong or does it look like a problem with the clasp?

Hugo Boss often have bad clasps in my experience.

This type of clap usually makes a big clicking noise when pressed shut. If this has been sold as unused though it shouldn't be like this straight away with no wear and tear.

Just bend that little tab on the inside so it fits into the slot opposite , just remember tiny little bends until it clicks in , I have a Skagen with the same clasp and once I got mine sorted it closes well now .
