    CK Help Required

    Hi All,

I have a CK K76271.00 wrist watch. The watch had been brilliant until the battery died a year or two ago. I took the watch to Timpsons to have the battery changed and since which time the stopwatch hasn’t worked. Neither of the side buttons seem to have any effect and you can’t reset the stop watch position either.

Any ideas? My friend has a watch or 10 and he said that one of his watches had to be shorted when fitting a new battery to reset the stopwatch functionality. I can’t find anything in the manual about this or any other process relating to changing a battery.

I am slightly worried that I will need a new movement however I though I’d ask here before I contact the manufacturer.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Thanks in advance

    Simon

If a watch needed to be shorted after changing battery the dealer should've done this. I'm not sure about the watch you're talking about though, just bring it back to the dealer to check I suppose.

    What movement ?

In case it is an ETA G15.211 try to get hold of the manual. Re-start after battery change is described in there. On the other hand - the dealer should know.
    Kind regards
