    Daniel Wellington (DW) vs Montiere

Hi everyone. I am buying a present for my brother and I know he wants a sleek trendy watch. Budget is slightly limited so I have narrowed it down to these two (brief specs and links included). Daniel wellington have limited info on the specs, like the glass, but from what i know they are quite popular. Any input of what you guys think is appreciated.

Daniel Wellington - Black Sheffield - $229 - Japanese quartz movement, Italian Leather Strap

Montiere - Rouése N°42 - $239 (on sale $219) - 762 Ronda Quartz (made in Switzerland), Italian Calf Leather, Sapphire Glass
    /products/rouese-n-42?variant=31916182094

    Thanks

    Martin

The Montiere in black looks much dressier. Would be good if he dressed up every day.

The DW in white can go with more casual stuff. Depends on his style.

Thanks for the reply. I was actually comparing the black DW to the black Montiere.

Oh, lol, did not realize they made a black DW, apologies. In that case, I think the Montiere, just to be a little unique. I like that mountain engraving on the caseback.

Yeah, I ended up going for Montiere. Found out Daniel Wellington is mineral glass while Montiere is sapphire. Also i think the Montiere packaging works much better as a present. Saves me from having to wrap it.
