    Fossil CH-2605 Help

I've got an older CH 2605 that my son has banged to hell.
I just put a new battery in it and it seems to be working fine. At least it's been telling time to the second for several hours so far.

The issue is that the chrono pushers don't seem to work. The top pusher seems to stop and start the timer most of the time. The bottom pusher (I'm guessing the reset, I don't have the instructions) mostly doesn't do anything. If it does the bottom sub-dial will spin around very quickly for several seconds, then stop.

It has a tach around the outer bezel so I suppose the big second hand is supposed to play nice with the chrono, but never reacts to any pushes.

Is there anything that I can do to maybe get them to work. I'm not willing to put any real money into it. I'll just use it as a daily banger at work.

Kaputt. Probably best is to buy a new Fossil.
    Kind regards

Well, it's keeping really good time (+1 second over the last week) and as I work in a warehouse it'll get banged up even more.
I'll just keep it for my working daily driver and keep the others that I have/want out of harms way.

    Thanks for the help.

Yep, Fossil watches often are fitted with Ronda quartz movements. Yours is most likely discontinued, a repair mightnbecome difficult though. The 3540d imho will not fit.
    Kind regards

Short of replacing the movement, it is fine for timekeeping purposes. Besides, the chronograph feature drains the battery quicker.

I was able to reset 2 of the 3 hands on the chrono, but the top one seems to be forever stuck at 3 o'clock.
It's kind of a strange mechanism. I've mostly gotten it to work, but when you reset it the hands completely "unwind" back to their home positions instead of just going round once to go home.
    It's cool to watch though.
