Towards the end of 2008 after graciously indulging in a fair amount of free wine on a long haul flight I made the ill advised tactical error of perusing the inflight duty free sales magazine and in my pliable state saw a watch with a hole through it and thought, "ooh that looks really cool, I'll have that!". A quick card swipe later and I was the proud owner of a Fossil PH 1095.
However the novelty soon wore off and within 3 months it was consigned to the back of a cupboard forgotten and left to slowly run out of battery power. Out of curiosity browsed ebay today and found the same watch for sale at quite a bit more than I payed for it originally(don't want to contravene forum rules so will post a screen shot):
Have these watches realistically appreciated in value so much (I paid $240 for mine) and what do you guys think about this watch- cool or silly? I reckon I'm going to buy a new battery for it on Monday
