i have checked Chinese providers for glass replacement but unfortunately i can't find the thickness mentioned in the description below, the only one available is 1.00mm

Any skilled/knowledgeable watchmaker should get you a matching crsytal. The thickness mentioned -13mm- is ref. to the case height though.

Re: Guess : watch glass replacement

I replaced the plastic crystal in my Fossil with a cheap mineral double dome off ebay for a few $, it absolutely transformed the watch and was quite easy to do with a crystal press. It is so transparent and the watch now looks very classy.

The original was 3mm thick and protruded past the bezel quite a bit (it had a bevel), the replacement was 1mm and sits a tiny bit shy of the bezel. Looks great though. I took out the original crystal and measured the diameter with a micrometer, the replacments come in 0.5mm diameter increments. You would need to do the same unless you can find accurate information.

There were also flat 1.5mm thick crystals but I wanted a dome and a cheap one as I didnt know if it would be successful (first mod). I kept the original crystal gasket in place.

As above though, any half decent watch maker should be able to do this in a few minutes.

    Cheers

    Cheers
