I want to buy a watch from a friend, is the original price correct?

My friend bought a Hilfiger watch a year ago.
Honestly, I like only TH shirts, because shirts and pants are of low quality
In any case, my friend still has guarantees, he sells the watch with the original crate and claims that he paid about $ 220 a year ago for this item.
(Around, because in my country there is another currency).
At what price I buy it is irrelevant - we set the price.
I just want to know what the watch model is to check the price

Honestly, you could do so much better with that money. I don't know what it's 'worth' but I wouldn't waste my money.

Wrong thread. Not a 24-hours watch.

I'd politely decline to buy it. Your friend paid waaaaaay toooooooo muuuuuuuuuch. Like waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay tooooooooooooooooooooooooooo muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuch. It's a $20 watch, if that. And it would be probably be insulting to him to offer him that little considering what he paid.

Make a thread over in the affordables section and ask for recommendations. Post a picture of this watch and your budget and people get you pointed in the right direction.

Next time please familiarize with our fora prior to posting. Thread moved to the right place.
Watch was sold in EU for €149, imho not worth €50 but hey it is a TH.

Buying used watches can be more costly than new. You get old watch at price almost like new will cost you (sometimes it 1:1 on local adds). you get used and scratched item. You may need new strap, you may need new battery soon and you may get seriously deteriorated water resistance.
    Look for a new watch.
It also bas idea if it debt payment item.
    It should be special!

It's a nice looking watch, but I hope the price wasn't too high (> $30), because it is just a Chinese made watch with TH printed on the dial.

No. Don't listen to your "friend". Any "friend" who tells you that watch is worth more than $20 is not your friend.

If he's a friend he should gift the watch and you pay for both of you a dinner.... at McDonald's ! It would be a fair bargain for both! (a little less for you)
This kind of watches, after you've opened the box, worth just what you "feel" they worth.
for 200$ he had been scammed! In U.S.A. you can find a brand new T.H. watch with warranty and box at the clearance area of Ross for 20-30$.
