To be honest it does not really matter that much. Oakley is not a watch co. They are just selling brand. The over the top bracelet is a little too much for it to be a 'proper' watch. My best guess - its an original. Titanium as a metal takes more work than stainless steel to make faking it worth the while for whoever does it.
I found a few pics from the Oakley forum. It appears that yours is real.
The whole of science is nothing more than a refinement of everyday thinking.
Please tell me you're not buying that...
I would have to agree with a previous comment, unfortunately the watch is not nice enough to really matter either way. If it's real then cool wear it if you like it, if it fakes then whatever it doesn't really matter anyway. although I would assume its real because there isn't really a use for making a replica oakley watch
These are going for $600 used to $1,700 new! For that, you could get a very good watch on here. If it's over $200.00, don't buy it!
* Casio G-Shock GMW-B5000D
* Casio Oceanus
* Omega Constellation Gold
* Omega Gold
* Rotary Silver
* Seiko Premier
* Tag Heuer Aquaracer blue
At those prices, can see why people would want to make fakes. Ridiculously huge mark-up.
If the OP likes the look of it then why not buy it? There's nothing wrong with it, it tells the time and has a very unique look. Whether we like it or not is irrelevant, everyone has different tastes and it's not our wrist that it's going to go on.
OP, I'm pretty sure that watch is genuine. If you like it and think it's cool then go for it, you won't find too many others like it. Many people here will tell you that you might find better value in other brands and that is quite likely correct. I'd also suggest that it's maybe not the most versatile watch, but again if you're looking for a big chunky striking design and this one sings to you then that's all you need to go on. Life would be very boring indeed if we all liked the exact same things.
I was in a discussion earlier about Invicta watches. This looks like something they might sell. I agree that if you like it, buy it. If it had a retail of $1,700 and sold for $200 to $300 it would be more palatable. If I bought it for $1,700 and then saw the movement, I'd die. The watch is even marked Swiss Made!
