    Mission Impossible?!

    Dear Members,

I am seeking a skeleton watch for myself. I do like the style of the Piaget skeleton watches, they are elegant yet exciting and they are not screaming from one's hand. But the price, yeah...

I am posting this thread in a hope the receive help, guidance from the community to find a timepiece similar in style to Pigaet but at a much lower price point. My budget is roughly 1000$ USD.

Does such thing even exist or I set a mission impossible for myself? Any constructive comments are welcome :)

    Hello Mike,

I spent many-many hours on google to find affordable skeleton watches yet I did not really fancy them. Either they were too big or I did not like to look. Piaget watches are beautiful which is kind of expected for a 130.000 USD price tag :)
Now I try to find something similar for a more appealing price.

Maybe Tissot watches are good alternatives. It's not very cheap but it's cheaper than Piaget :)

I'm a fan of skeletons, but what do you mean by Piaget style? If you mean you're looking for something as thin as their's you're going to be SOL.

If you like the simplicity of their design, then you may have some options. Almost all the fashion brands have some style of "simple" skeleton. I would suggest searching by the movement you want.

Ok, I assume those Sea-Gull skeleton watches are ruled out as well ? Oris, Tissot ?

He's referring to searching on watchuseek, specifically in the public and affordables subforums. Your question is a relatively common one. Google can be pretty useless if you just look up skeleton watches by itself.

If you don't want to use watchuseek's search feature, you can go to google and type something like "skeleton watch site:forums.watchuseek.com" and it'll pull up the relevant threads.
