I've been looking for this Nixon 42-20 Tide in antique finish for some time. Doesn't seem to be too many around. Nixon made so many variations of this watch. When I saw it on ebay I noticed corrosion on the hands and thought maybe moisture had gotten in and maybe destroyed the movement. It was cheap though so I took a chance. When I got it I cleaned out the grime, replaced the battery and the case gasket. The hands look bad so I may in the future re-finish them, maybe in a different color. So I got it working, set the time and the tide indicator. I've been checking the accuracy against my G-Shock tide watch and so far it's been accurate. This watch has screw down crowns. There's also a bigger version of this watch but I like this smaller version better.
