Thats a good looking watch. It's a nice size and it is a nice shade of blue. I am also a big fan of watch faces without numbers. The black Rover and the black/white Time Teller came from Tj Maxx on clearance for $10 apiece. The white Time Teller came from Salvation Army for $1. Saw them at Tilly's for So Much more. You made a sweet score.

I really like Nixon. You can find some amazing deals on their older models, or on the ones that have weird dials or straps. They're built well, look great, and almost always have at least a 100m water resistance. My wife went through a bunch of watches, usually because she would lose them or break them when taking them off to shower. I found a Nixon Small TimeTeller and got it for her about a year ago, and it quite literally has not left her wrist since.

I'm glad there's some Nixon love, on the fence about purchasing one, the more positive things I hear the more enticing :)

Was peeping the typical watches at a department store and noticed the Nixons stood out as nice...visually. I've always thought of them in the faddish "44mm+ Club" with Diesel, but the ones I saw recently were all reasonably sized.

I'm a fan of their 'base tide' model - not too big and with an optional 80s design scheme! (sorry, pics aren't loading....)

No they aren't bad at all. A nice, wide range with some very stylish entries. I have quite a few and they all run well.
Thank you, I'm flattered, but, please don't click any "Likes" for me (unless there's a prize for "most likes")?

I think some of them are pretty cool, as well. Lots of styles and interesting dial colors, but more or less a fashion brand, IMHO
