Timberland Sandown watch: what kind of battery does it use?

I have a Timberland Sandown watch like the one in this picture....
What kind of battery doe it use? I'd like to order the battery
first so I don't have to open the back twice.

    Thanks!

I don't know of a battery reference for Timberland watches. Look in the owners manual . Otherwise look on the Timberland website or just call them.

Thanks, but it's not listed in the manual. Timberland's website lists no watches and their 800# was no help. (not surprising, as Timberland watches are probably made by a third-party) Guess I'll have to crack it open first in order to find out the battery size.

Battery powered quartz watches typically let the owner know the battery is running down by pausing the seconds hand for 4-5 seconds before advancing. It's a battery conserving measure but also an alarm of sorts that lasts for several weeks. You should get plenty of notice before it dies completely. But now is the time to buy a case back wrench so it will be available when needed..
