I've inherited an YSL alarm chronometer watch. It is fully analog, and has 4 buttons (but no winding crown). It looks just like this one: Yves Saint Laurent Paris YSL Chronograph Japan Quartz Mov'T Men's Wrist Watch | eBay except that mine has a stainless/gold clasp-type bracelet.
The back of the watch is marked "MOV'T JAPAN" and has the identifier: 6870-H1193 Y 760686
Of course, I don't have any instructions for it. I have determined that the lower-right button seems to advance the hand in the lower sub-dial, and if clicked right, the watch "takes off" and various hands and date change, but it sems to resume at the previously-set date/time.
Does anyone have any idea hot to set it and use it? Is it any good? Is it battery-powered, or perpetual?
Thanks, and Merry Christmas!
