I'm new here and purchased a Longines Hydroconquest Automatic new a few weeks ago. I have been wearing it daily until a couple days ago. This morning I went to put it on and of course it ran out of power. So I unscrewed the crown, twisted it about 10 times, got it started and adjusted the time and date (making sure the time was after 0600). When I tried to adjust the time, the crown felt like it was slipping, I couldn't even adjust the date. So now here I am all upset that I have a broken watch. Should I just return the watch or exchange it for a new one? Are these Longines Hydroconquests not that durable? I feel as if this is kind of unacceptable for a $1200 watch to break within the first couple of weeks of owning it. Thanks for any and all feedback.
