Dive into the 1950s with Gruppo Gamma’s latest diver, the Mk II Divemaster!
Arguably one the most important decades for the humble dive watch, 1950s saw Blancpain introduce the Fifty Fathoms, Zodiac introduce the Sea Wolf and Rolex introduce the Submariner.
First released in 2016 the Divemaster takes its inspiration from these legendary divers of the past subtly referencing some of their most iconic features such as its old school box-shaped Sapphire crystal.
Now in its 2nd generation, the Mk II Divemaster is vastly improved over its predecessor. For starters it is now equipped with a Swiss ETA 2824-2 caliber and is also water-resistant to 500m.
Special features of the Divemaster Mk II include: a domed ceramic bezel, a sandwich dial, two-tone gradient dial and even a Helium Escape Valve.
The Divemaster is available for preorder at an introductory price starting from 599USD, depending on the package.
Gruppo Gamma has an early bird preorder package available but in very limited quantities - first come first served!
Thoughts? A good looking robust made, retro diver with a quality Swiss auto at a fair price. I love the blue.
