Orient got me into watches you?

I recently acquired the 2nd gen silver ver 3. Should I let the old bambino go?

No! Enjoy all 3, they are different enough to easily justify. I would rotate them, be it daily, weekly or what ever suits.

Nice trio, i need to add an Orient to my little family

I kind of got back into them recently with seiko and citizen, i bought a couple of each. From then i have been on a G shock binge, bit of digital/retro kind of thing. Also brings some memories back from being a kid(still am in ways).

Let a watch go? Never I say! Although I have used the same case with various bands for years now, my fascination began in the 1990s and then when retired, started hoarding. Sometimes revolving wear, I am using a 1968 Seiko M110 Sealion dress watch case that used to house its 6106 movement. At one time, that case had a 6119 movement and face with hands from a 7005. Currently, the 1968 case has a 1969 6119 movement. Much lighter than the bigger watches.

I hoarded a mess of 1950s 17 jewel incabloc watches and several Seiko 7005, a couple/few 7002, some Citizens and just this month an Orient CEY04001b That world timer will be a near daily wear now but I'll keep my Frankenseiko wound and occasionally drag something else out in the light.

This is an old picture from about 2012 and I have added others since but I am brand new to the Orient brand.

Orient got me into watches you?

Seiko got me into watches but shopping for an Orient got me into collecting more seriously. I wanted a TriStar as a daily beater but I found this to be too good to pass up for $160. Now I’m thinking of selling my SKX007 and getting a Defender or Kamasu.

It was Tissot that introduced me to the drug that is watch hoarding. But the blame for getting me interested in Orients lies firmly with WUS.

Orient didn't get me into watches but, my first ever automatic was the Orient Defender.

My first brand new watch purchase was an Orient. I've bought 5 and gifted 3 and have 2 in my collection. Really hard to beat the quality for the price.
