I just bought the Carbon and love it. It was a little too brazen.. and I just ordered a brand new croc for my Carbon. I have no intentions on selling. I absolutely love it.. but the Moon Tattoo is just one of those holy grail pieces.
Good, Im glad youre keeping it. Its a phenomenal watch. I like it more than the tech green. Side note. I ordered some hex screws from LW and they emailed me to ask where I bought my watch. I just told them it was a trade I made. Just thought that was interesting that they were curious where I bought it.

Thats pretty cool they asked. I've bought 2 from them and 2 from private vendors. I think they are doing this to build relations with consumers.. and also maybe to see if the watch was purchased from an old AD or grey market. They have noted they are paying attention to the secondary market. I'm hoping most of the dead stock floating around eventually makes its way back to LW for modification and re-sell. In the future I'd like to see them at a limited selection of watches for sale and the rest built to order.

I'm ordering a few screws this week as well.

My new croc came in. Figured I'd give you guys a laugh. I have never bought a strap in my life that was this hard and stiff. In all seriousness.. if I was to mount this strap and strap it down tight to my wrist, the case would crack from the pressure. The ends are flexible, but anything near the plots are rock solid. Zip-tied them down to my closet rack, lol. 1st night still no luck. Took them off, played with them a little and tied them back up. Lets see what happens tomorrow. I'm really considering the old baseball glove and oven trick, lol.

Strap is beautiful nonetheless. With black screws attached, this strap mounted is going to give the Carbon such a high end look.

    Any suggestions!?

Don't mind the strap screws.. I threw a old set I painted while I wait for the DLC ones to come in. Rough shots:

I really dig the croc strap look! I hope you get them to soften up a bit though! Ha! Im trying to think what strap would look good on my spido lite titanium blue. Gotta do some looking.

Just checked LWs website and it looks like they upped the price a couple grand each model. Interesting.

Yeah, they're super stiff man! I have the HBII 'gator, and have had the brown before, and neither are what you'd call supple. Cool straps though!
