    Any "Overlanders?"

Hey guys, I have a 2013 Wrangler, and a 3 year old. So because of this, I want to do some offloading and some overloading. I can't think of a better way for some family bonding!

Just wanted to see if anyone could give me some tips on setup.

    Thanks

It is an amazing way to spend time with the family and expose kids to the benefits of seeing other places. We have done two Southern U.S. Road trips (From Canada) and the kids loved them.

You dont need to go overboard on the build of the vehicle right from the start. Just head out with camping gear and build the vehicle as you learn what will make it easier to live out of and what you will actually be doing with it.

    Enjoy.

Yeah it’s an awesome family experience. If you’re in SC check out Uwharrie national Forrest in NC. They have trails just for over landing and camping and a gun range. You don’t have to go crazy on building up your vehicle but a lot of people do. Different strokes for different folks. But camping in general makes things that much better for family bonding

    Re: Any "Overlanders?"

Stupid question: Is there a difference between overlanding and car camping? I spent most of my summers, when I was a kid, camping around N.America with my parents in the old Eurovan camper van.
