    Alt1-P with a Small Wrist

Looking for a little help. I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on an Alt1-P but I don't know how it will fit on my about 6.5 inch wrist. I usually stay at 42mm watches or below and there isn't an AD near me where I could try on if these on. Any opinions or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Well, I too have about a 6.5 inch wrist and own an ALT1-C P/W, and I find that it wears just fine on my wrist. However, these things are really subjective. Unlike yourself, I'm more attracted to watches in the 42mm-44mm range, and I generally shy away from anything below 42mm. But remember that it's just not all about diameter; you should also take thickness and lug-to-lug measurements into account as well. I forget the exact thickness and L2L measurement of the ALT watches (Google is your friend here), but I believe that thickness may be on the larger side since it's a chrono, so make sure to take that into consideration as well. You'd be surprised how two different watches that have the exact same dimensions wear due to design and construction. You can always wait to try on an ALT watch until you have the opportunity to visit an AD or boutique.

I have the same size wrist and have owned an ALT1-C. It wore smaller than the dimensions would indicate and fit me perfectly fine. For me though, the strap with deployant buckle added too much bulk and didn't give a tight fit. Same with the bracelet. But the ALT1-C on a regular tang buckle strap and/or NATO (each providing a more secure fit) worked perfect.

Thanks for the reply. I think the lug to lug on the watch is 49mm, which is what got me thinking it might work. I have a few others that are in the 48-50mm range but are 41 or 42mm diameter. I looked at the thickness but that didn't bother me as I have a few 7750 based watches that are about the same. Again, thanks for the help.

I have a small wrist similar to yours. I have no problem on having big trunky bremont on it. Just personal opinion.
