Picture Bremont launches the NEW ALT1-C Rose Gold, classic chronograph

Bremont is pleased to announce the launch of the new ALT1-C Rose Gold, Classic Chronograph. Whilst the style is based on the classic ALT1-C collection, the design inspiration hails from the Victory Limited Edition watch which Bremont released in 2012 in collaboration with The Museum of the Royal Navy, Portsmouth.

The ALT1-C Rose Gold is Bremont’s first non-limited edition 43mm gold watch that will form part of the core collection but will only be produced in very limited numbers each year with less than 65 being made in 2013.

As with the original ALT1-C range, this watch will be COSC rated and manufactured at Bremont’s watchmaking facility in Henley-On-Thames, England, where all of Bremont’s watches are now being made by the companies dedicated team of watch makers.

    Giles English:
Although we are renowned for producing aviation chronometers that are designed to withstand harsher environments, Nick and I also have a love of classically elegant timepieces, as we have demonstrated with our recent Limited Edition watches. Seeing a rising demand from our customers for a sophisticated yet robust, classic, gold chronograph, we decided the time was right to add this stunning watch to the core collection. The characteristics are reminiscent of traditional British watch making.
    Nick English:
The ALT1-C Rose Gold is a beautiful addition to the ALT1-C collection. We were extremely proud with the end result of the Victory Limited Edition and we wanted to preserve some of the attributes that inspired this. Our classic collection has proved so popular over the years due to the timeless style of design. It was very important that we retained that with the ALT1-C Rose Gold, whilst injecting a sense of elegance that is seen in British dress watches of the early 1900’s, we believe we have succeeded in that.

The ALT1-C Rose Gold will be launched in November 2013 and retail at £13,950 / $18,250

I got a sneak peek at Bremont HQ a few months back. It's a really lovely hue and the colours work brilliantly - seen here (perched precariously) atop my ALT1-C/CR!
