Bremont new model on the 24th of October

This may have been posted already but Bremont is releasing a new limited edition model on the 24th of this month and I just wondered what everyone's guess is.

    https://www.bremont.com/pages/landing-soon

From the limited amount of the watch we can see it looks like a ~40mm model like the Airco (judging from the size of the case relative to the crown and the similarity of the case back).

From what I hear Bremont has been buying equipment to produce their in-house movements so this could potentially be them testing the waters using the limited edition (which is small in number) to see how things go.

Either way I'm excited to see a new watch being released so soon.

    What's everybody's take on this?

I would say 'no' on the in-house movement; when I last spoke with the brothers, it sounded like they were a couple years away. Plus I'd have to think that wouldn't be a mid-cycle release. They don't do Basel anymore, but I'd think they time the release of their first in-house to be around that time.

But if I were a betting man, I'd say whatever gets announced is a chronograph.

    Regards,
    Alysandir

I didn't think about the chronograph until you mentioned it. If I'm not mistaken their first model was an ALT-C so I can see where you're coming from. What ever it is I hope we get to see it sooner than later.

Geez. Was hoping for an 18mm thick chrono with pieces of an old old wooden ship named Diversity.

Very excited for this model, Bremont have always done some amazing collaborations. From what I have seen of the invite and the date, everything hints towards a concorde themed watch. Which would be amazing.
Hopefully not falling foul of rules here, I do work for a jewellers that stocks Bremont, they are being incredibly secretive over the watch however I do know that allocation for the UK is not very high!! There will be a s/steel white gold and rose gold version, about the same price point as the 1918 LE
