    S301 bracelet

    Evening all,

Just after some advice really, I have an S301 on a bracelet but am having no luck with resizing it. It has screwed pins which I have the tools for but I just can't get the buggers undone.

Turning 1 at a time they spin smoothly without much effort but having a screwdriver in each end turning in opposite directions is practically impossible. Ive had the bracelet clamped but it's almost as if the screws are glued together.

Am I missing something or does anyone have any tips? Would rather do this myself that have to pay a jewellers to do it

    Many thanks
    Pete

Try using a hairdryer on the bracelet for a little. It will heat up the locktite and soften it, if it was used. My best advice.

If that doesn't work, take it to a "TRUSTED" watchmaker.

That is what I have always heard to do. Heat from a hair dryer or boiling water.
