That's awesome man, and congratulations on a very successful restoration. It's gotta be one of your favorite watches now.

Also, that's really cool that Zenith did that. I might have to put a zenith on my list now.

Re-reading your post, I just realized how young you are which makes this achievement all the more remarkable ... a truly inspirational story and a wonderful effort on your part. I agree with the others who have said that the work (and hours) you put in on the watch will make it seem all the more special to you. It's also nice to hear something good about Zenith for a change (they are one of my favorite watch manufacturers/brands).

I must say that you are a very impressive young man. My guess is that you will be a remarkable success at whatever you choose to do in life. Congratulations on a job well done and for Zenith for recognizing you. Wear your beautiful watch in good health.

Wow. I don't have much to add to what has been stated before me, but I am another VERY impressed reader. Both with you and with Zenith. Kudos and congratulations.

Edited to add: I am going to make an assumption that English is not your first language, forgive me if this is incorrect. Your English language and grammar skills are as amazing as your watchmaking skills. Thank your tutor or teacher(s) today!

The absolute best story I've read on this forum! Amazing job, and what patience! Your father and your father's uncle should be proud to have such a son and nephew. It's been too long since I've heard of a major company actually caring about an individual customer or fan. What a great beginning to the new year!
