Sorry, another wife watch request: 31 to 33 mm automatic $200 to $500

Sorry, starting another of these watch for the wife threads.

I'm looking for a classic looking automatic watch in the 31 to 33 mm range. Leather or bracelet is fine and brand doesn't really matter. Was looking at some of the Orients but the lines were not as clean as my wife would like. Any ideas? In the $200 to $500 range and used is fine.

Look at the Hamilton Jazzmaster, also Mido, Tissot, and Certina (grey-market prices).

Like the look of the tissot couturier so that might work. Jazzmaster is a little large at 34 mm. Are their any seiko's or citizens in the mid size that might work?

I don't know about Seiko's. You could probably find a Citizen Eco-Drive in that size range but not autos. And the Jazzmaster also comes in 30-33 mm models.

Here are a couple of Mido's that are a bit over your budget.

There aren't a lot of companies that make affordable women's automatics, particularly in this size range.

Some of those mido's are nice. I'll show my wife and see what she thinks. If the budget was a little more flexible is there anything else you would recommend? Maybe up towards $1000 and used is okay.

That budget would open up some additional Jazzmasters, Mido's, Certina's and Tissot's. Also Rado and Maurice LaCroix.

    Search for a wristwatch

    I'll keep thinking.

Looks like the Rado's she likes are going to be pricey. What about vintage Omega's or even a vintage cartier tank handwind? I think she would like something classic.

I don't know a lot about vintage watches and I'd have to resort to googling Ebay etc. You can try cross-posting in the Vintage forum and see if they can suggest some sites to check out. Or if you live near some watch shops selling vintage pieces, that would definitely be somewhere to check out. I think it's going to be tough to find a Cartier in your price range.

I asked on the cartier forum and it seems like a handwound tank wouldn't be a huge issue. They seem to be reasonable on ebay so that might be an option. Ladies Omega's seem to be more difficult but I'm liking the idea of something vintage for her. If I go off the beaten track brand wise I think I can get something interesting. I'll report back with what I get.

I like the look of the Tissot Carson. Might be a little on the small side. 27mm.
I also like the Seiko SRRY011. On the other hand, it might be a little on the large side. 35mm.
