    FC Classic Chronograph

    Hi everyone,

I'm new here and looking for a great first watch to begin my collection (been wearing citizens for the past decade but I want to upgrade now) and I found a FC-292MC4P6 for C$799 (US$630) at a local jewelry. Unsure if I'm looking for a mechanical or quartz watch, but wanted to know what you guys thought of this one and its price.

    Thank you

    Re: FC Classic Chronograph

As a general rule if the chrono disks are at 10 and 2 then it's usually a quartz movement, if the chrono disks are 9 and 3 it is usually a mechanical movement. I also believe that FC puts automatic on the dial of the their automatic watches.

Also a mechanical chrono under 1k is pretty rare, I doubt there are any Swiss chrongraphs for so little.

A nice watch if you can get past the eaten romans numbers.
