I've been a member and reader of Watchuseek for some time now and thought I was overdue for a post and thought I'd share the newest addition to my collection. Just received the Frederique Constant Worldtimer with blue dial today. First impressions were mixed as I debated whether the dial was too dark and complicated. Since wearing it around and seeing the dial in different lighting and inspecting the movement more it has grown on me. There is some great texture and coloring throughout the dial. The lume dots and hands really pop against the darker elements.
I think it will be a nice addition to my current roster of Speedy Pro, Seiko divers/JDM pieces, and a Longines. A nice Swiss made in house manufacture complication piece should hold me over until a major birthday in a few years where I plan to pick up my first Rolex (*fingers crossed*).
Looking forward to being more active in the community and welcome any questions and comments.
