That's pretty much the standard MSRP from an AD nowadays, so nothing special, but you aren't getting ripped off either.

Looks like the price here in EU is a lot higher. I have seen much cheaper prices in the US. So you know any cheaper places to buy it from?

My local AD is selling them for 1899 USD, so not really. But if you want to go grey market, you might want to keep checking watchrecon:

Oh okay. Seems like a great price then. I once saw it for $1040 on the grey market. But it seems that this model is pretty hard to get cheap, right now at least.
I am actually deciding between the Slimline and the Tudor BB Black with the inhouse mvt. As i don't have a dress watch i really want one. And the FC703 is perfect imo. I guess it will be harder to get the FC703 in a year then it will be to get the BB Black. Or what do you think?

    Thanks

Bought mine last year new from grey market for around $1300 usd, don't remember the exact number (I tend to have a short term memory on this, as it makes the inevitable "oh is that a new watch?" wife interrogation easier).

It's a great dress watch. Could be better if a little thinner, and the deployant clasp doesn't open quite enough for me.

I also own a Tudor BB blue (ETA), which is awesome but obviously a different genre.

Thanks for the info, and great pic!
Will probably go for the FC. It's unbeatable for the price. If i go for the Tudor right now i'm afraid that the FC will be harder to find a year down the line.

I think that's solid logic. I want to say I read that FC makes around 10,000 watches a year with an in-house movement, so trickle down to production numbers on individual models and surely there are less available than a Tudor BB.

Add in the Citizen acquisition, and while I hope they stay hands off and let FC continue as-is, they may decide to muck it up and discontinue models like this.
