2013 WUS ST5 Project: Lucky draw for first 50 sign ups. Extended to SECOND draw for #51-100 sign ups

To spice things up I am giving away (including postage) one Seagulll ST5 as per picture below. The watch is NOS. Well as NOS as they come these days. Has a none milling engraved movement which appears to run well. Nice new semi-cushion case, metal case holder AND a rare misprint (JLWEL instead of JEWEL).

We will have a lucky draw for the first 50 people who sign up. Regardless of whether you have signed up for one or multiple watches you will only get one ticket. Committee members are excluded of course. Sorry guys. Just work, no fun.

We will run the lucky draw once we have 50 people confirmed and received the initial payment.

This is very generous of you, Torsten. May I ask, was a teardown that was just too pretty to toss? I would have struggled with the teardown process, personally. I look forward to seeing this go to the best new home (and I'm happy to have a 2% chance of winning!)
Too many watches, not enough wrists.

"Watches tie people to the celestial clockwork... but people have been encouraged by their clocks to ignore the daily and seasonal cycles and to pretend that there is nothing to contend with but metronome-paced linear time. We appear to have caged the sun inside a machine." Michael Young, The Metronomic Society, p. 204

Thanks for the chance Torsten. I'm not sure if I made the cut but good luck to those who did! I can't wait for this project to come to fruition.

What a neat thing to do. I'm in the 50 but don't include me in the draw, please, Torsten. I think I have a black ST5 already and I'd love for it to go to someone else.

Some of the watches contained only plain movements which we cannot use. Most of them have been dismantled to serve for spare parts for refurbishing. This one survived....
