    23. Fine-tuning the GMT Dial Design *** Closed ***

    The votes are in and the winner is #3 - shorter markers, larger teak deck and larger 24 hour font!!!

    As we wrote in the design thread last week, there are several minute details to be sorted before we can proceed with the final renders and prototypes. Using very rudimentary editing- and drawing-tools, we managed to visualize our ideas:

    1. Original GMT Dial Design first presented in the February 7 renders
    2. Modified design 1 with shortened markers at 3, 6, 9 and 12. Now the tips of the markers "line-up" on a virtual circle
    3. Modified design 2 also with shortened markers (see above) and increased "teak deck" area such that date-window falls completely within "teak deck". This option also allows a slightly larger font for the 24h numbers
