    29er Small a women's watch?

I've been in the market for a 38-40 mm black face watch with a nice simple clean metal bracelet design. Browsing some online watch marketplaces this weekend I came across a small size Mühle-Glashutte 29er.

Ive always thought the large size model looked handsome in pictures but was far too large for me. So I was intrigued to discover this small size one. However, it's only 36.5 mm!

Has anyone here seen this watch in person and/or tried it on? I wonder if it's really a women's watch with feminine width bracelet etc. Anyone have opinions of this watch on a mostly average size (though small 6.25 inch wrist) man? Does the larger face make it wear large and does it have greater than usual lug distance for its size or anything like that? As I'm not able to see it in person or find this information on their web site I thought I'd try to hunt down some experts here. Really all I have on it's measurements is its case diameter.

    I don't have one. With a 30mm dial and 18 mm bracelet I think the 36.5 mm
29er is a traditional sized men's watch. In these times a woman might wear
it, but it will look gender neutral. I think it is worth the effort to go try it on
    at a dealer.

    Thanks,

Thanks for the feedback. I'll feel bad using a dealer to try on a watch I would only buy from someone else online. But perhaps you're right. Don't think I'm confident enough to pull trigger unseen but maybe in person it will turn out to be nice.

    Re: 29er Small a women's watch?

    Hi!
I have the 29er in the small version and it is definately NOT a small women's watch, let me explain:
The bezel is quite thin, so on the other hand the dial is large-33mm to be exact.
This is a larger dial than a lot of 38mm watches have and thus it has a very good wrist presence.
Still the lug to lug length is very comfortable if you have a smaller wrist- it just fits.
My wrists are 6" or 16,5cm and it is the perfect size for me.
I also had the Big version with 42,4mm and it was WAY too big-not the case but because offenbar the largedial.
So I can only recommend it since it offers great value imho. Go for it, you will not regret it

They are awesome watches, but they do wear big, IMHO.

Women I know and have seen all wear oversized watches. I don't think calling a watch a "woman's watch" is accurate these days. Get the piece that best fits your wrist. A classy, refined watch always comes in a smaller form, regardless of the gender wearing it.
