Some of you may have seen my posts before as I am on the search for an everyday watch which I can one day pass down to my son, should he want it in 20-30 years. I have considered many watches such as the Sinn 104 & 556, Nomos Club, Oris Aquis, and Stowa Flieger. In the end, something has always held me back from pulling the trigger.
Recently, I rediscovered across the M29 having seen the pointer-date version on the wrist of an acquaintance of mine. I was blown away by the finishing. I did a bit of digging and was impressed to learn everything Mühle does with their movements to insure excellent accuarcy.
My question for you is, will the M29 Medium be too small for my 7-1/4in Wrist?
I am looking interested in the black dialed version on the bracelet. I gernerally prefer 38-40mm watches. I greatly dislike the "dinner plate" look of larger watches. Given the bezel & lug design, I am hoping that the m29 medium will wear larger than its 36.6mm size suggests. If anyone can shed some light on the subject I would be very appriciative.
I work as a teacher and need something that looks good with business-casual clothing.
As an alternative, I LOVE the S.A.R but fear that it is far too "tooly" for my profession and everyday life. Based on the liturature, the S.A.R. is nearly "Toddler-proof" which is very attractive when considering a watch with small destructive children.
