    Question on Lady 99 Watch

I have a question for you guys. I'm in Germany for work and bought my wife this watch brand new in Munich a few days ago.

It was between that and a Nomos Orion, but ultimately for the lower price and the auto and I think my wife would prefer it, went with the Lady 99. It was on sale.

Here is the thing, after some research I believe Muhle last made these watches like 5-10 years ago. I just bought this new. Can someone shed light on truly when these were made? Is there a date code anywhere?

Also, should I return it seeing as it may be very old? Will that impair the watch's longevity?

I can take some pics later but unable to right now. It's the white face with silver bracelet.

99 Lady Matic. Reference M1-99-71-11-MB ? Indeed a discontinued model with ETA 2671 movement. NOS.
    Kind regards

Yep that's it, though technically M1-99-70 and not 71 according to the warranty card and back of watch.

I really like the look of watch, but definitely disappointed to find out it's NOS.

Afaik the M1-99-70 was the black faced Lady Matic. M1-99-71 White dial. MB = Metallband (metal bracelet) , LB = Lederband (leather strap). Both were sold in the old wooden boxes.

Couldn't return it. Could have exchanged it but did still liked it the best of the lady watches the shop had. Hopefully my wife likes it!

The dealer was confused. She said she orders them new from factory as she is an authorized dealer. She just got it in recently.

So not sure if it was recently built or if the factory has had it/them sitting around for years.

She will love it. It's a truly classy piece.
