Robert Jasper is one of the world's leading mountaineers and has set international standards in the past, especially in the extreme alpine area and in the ice and mixed terrain. The special passion of the climbing specialist from the Black Forest applies to solo climbing. Already in 1991, he caused a sensation when in one year without accompaniment he crossed the three largest north faces of the Alps - the Eiger North Face, the Matterhorn and the Grandes Jorasses - in record time. In 2003, Robert Jasper was voted the world's most successful mixed climber by climbing magazine "Klettern". In addition, his expeditions take him regularly to the remotest mountains in the world, such as the area around Mount Everest in the Himalayas and Patagonia.
His jugdement so far
„The watch wears very light and is due to its robust housing and the waterproof leather / rubber strap very well suited to the needs of athletes like me. For me, it's particularly important that my freedom of movement during climbing is not restricted by the ProMare chronograph ", says Jasper enthusiastically after his first impressions. At Mühle-Glashütte, too, one is convinced of the synergies of the cooperation: "As an avid athlete, it is particularly important to me that our watches not only look sporty, but also meet the highest sporting demands.
More on the test to come.
