    So Mühle = Mill, who knew?

    Was at restaurant in Cologne called Decksteiner Mühle at the weekend with my German girlfriend and her family. I was interested in the name since I got my MG just a couple of weeks ago and she said "Oh, it means Mill."

    Of course a simple Google translate would have told me that but for some reason I hadn't bothered, just thought it was the family name but didn't consider the origin. At least now I understand the crown logo.

    No doubt most of you (who might care) had this figured out long ago, but for any who didn't know, maybe of interest ;)

    I love learning this kind of trivia! Thank you for posting as I too had just assumed Mühle was merely a German family name. BTW, your MG looks like it comes on the same almost-black-but-is-actually-blue leather strap as mine. Is that correct? Cheers!

    I knew when I watched a youtube review on a watch once and that's how it was pronounced in English.

    Great you also find out and share.
    I was wondering the difference between ''Mühle'' and ''Müller''
    I asked this when I visited Mühle Glashutte factory. So the first is the name of tool (Mill), the later is the person doing the job with this tool.

    I would like to see the 3D mill logo on dial, actually.

    Mühle = mill
    Müller = miller

    And, yes, it is a wide spread family name, because every village used to had a mill.
