    2015 Lexington, KY NAWCC Regional

I am posting this to advertise the upcoming NAWCC Regional in Lexington, KY on January 16-17.

The show takes place-as it has in years past-at the Clarion hotel on Newtown Pike right off I-75 in Lexington, KY. The mart room opens to members at 9:00AM on Friday morning.

As this is the first show of the year, it always a fun show with a lot of people anxious to get out of the winter doldrums to buy, sell, trade, and just show off some clocks and watches.

Yours truly will be giving a talk on Friday morning on Kentucky private label watches. I will also be putting together a display of watches to correspond with the talk. We will have at least one other yet-to-be-determined educational program. As with all NAWCC regionals, all educational programs(talks and displays) are free and open to the public. A current NAWCC membership is required to engage in buying and selling in the mart room.

I would love to see a great attendance from WUS members at this show this year!

Hmm... Wouldn't mind making a trip up there. Is it members only?

I probably don't have a good excuse not to join anymore, anyways...

As I said, you must be a member to buy and sell in the mart room. We can take care of NAWCC membership at the door with no problems, so don't let not being a member deter you from coming. There is even a special 3-month $35 NAWCC "trial" membership available only at Regionals for those who are on the fence about spending the full $80 for membership.

And, again, all educational activities are free and open to the public.

This is pretty much what I had been thinking lately; I just didn't have an excuse not to join. So last Sunday night, in a weak moment,

I signed up for a one year membership. I figured why not? There's a whole bunch of information on the website,

lots of it available to members only, so I figured that alone was worth the price of the ride.

I'd love to go to Lexington, but not this year, too big of a trip, but I will be at the Pasadena Regional just to see what

it's all about.... hope to meet some WUS members there.

This is just a reminder about the show this upcoming weekend.

Registration is $20 at the door, and we can take care of your NAWCC membership at the door if you are not currently a member. We also still have tables available.
