Good News from the National Watch and Clock Museum.

On Friday afternoon Dec 2, 2016 the Google Cultural Institute opened its 'Google Streetview' three dimensional walkthrough of the National Watch and Clock Museum in Columbia PA (USA). The NAWC Museum is now one of only 1500 leading museums and heritage sites worldwide (of more than 200’000 museums) selected by Google. This recognition is a reflexion of the NAWCCs role as the preeminent specialized horological museum in the western hemisphere and the continual improvements the museum and its staff have made to the quality of both its collection and its management and its operating procedures.

The link

will take you just steps inside the main lobby of the National Watch and Clock Museum. If you turn left into the short green/blue corridor (between the ‘Admissions Desk’ on the left and the ‘Theatre’ on the right) you can go through the door into all of our exhibit galleries, and examine all objects on display.
I congratulate the board, the management and staff for this major achievement.
Hoping you will explore our museum virtually and hopefully one day also physically.

It takes a little experience driving it - BUT I did get the wristwatch section - VERY COOL INDEED
