    Southern Ohio(Wilmington, OH) Regional Reminder

This is just a reminder to everyone that the Southern Ohio Regional in Wilmington, OH is coming up in a little less than two weeks. This is always a large and well attended show, and is one of my favorites every year.

I'm not positive I'm going to make it this year due to other commitments, but if I do, please come and look for me! I'll be wearing a black polo shirt with the WatchUSeek logo on it. I may or may not be sitting behind a table.

Do you have to be a member to attend? I love 15 mins from there and would love to check it out.

As with all regionals, the educational programs-including lectures and displays-are free and open to the public. You can enter the mart room as a non-member under the "escorted visitor" policy, but are not permitted to buy or sell. The NAWCC does offer a special 4-month membership for $25. This is only available at the door of regionals and only to those who have never before been members. It gives you full access to the mart room at that show as well as any others you may want to attend in that time frame(with the timing of Wilmington, you would be able to attend both the Louisville, KY show and the National in Chattanooga if you were so inclined), and you also receive the publications.

It's definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area.

By the way, I forgot to give the details:

The regional is located at the Roberts Convention Center, which is located at 123 Gano Road in Wilmington, OH. This is right off I-71 at Exit 50. There is a tailgate mart(members only) from 7:00AM to 1:30PM on Thursday Aug. 11, followed by set-up for table holders from 3:00PM to 5:00PM on Thursday. On Friday, the mart room opens for table holders at 7:30AM and 8:00AM for all other registered members. It is open until 5:00 on Friday, and then 8:45AM-1:00PM on Saturday.

Registration for NAWCC members is $20 at the door for Friday and Saturday, or $5 for Saturday only.

Re: Southern Ohio(Wilmington, OH) Regional Reminder

I'm hoping to see a good turnout of WUS folks there tomorrow!

This is going to be a low-key show for me as I didn't bring anything to sell and probably won't buy much if anything, but have a briefcase full of(sort of) interesting stuff for "show and tell."

I won't have a table, but will probably see if I can bum a seat at the table with the Hansen clan or one of my other friends.

I'll have on a black WatchUSeek Polo and, as I said, will either be walking the floor or camped out behind one of the tables.

I'm planning on getting there at 8:00 tomorrow morning and will be there until early afternoon.
