I ain't a jordie, though I have drunk many newkibrowns in my time. And that how sounds in my head. Just don't ask me to say out loud I'd just get it wrong.

Your attention to detail and the authentic nature of the design makes me say "I'll take one, too."
The newer caseback looks good. While the monotone dial may fit the original intent best it's your watch so the design has to pease you first. Just my humble opinion, Hector

Love to see the great effort it takes to bring an idea to reality. Definitely a lesson to learned here. Keep up the good work.

Re: Quest for the perfect Pilot Watch. A headache project.

    Dear all,
I would like first to address my warmest thank you for your comments and suggestions. I have to confess you that a couple of times I was close to give up and your support really made the difference.

I made a cost analysis and I think I have a pretty realistic idea of the actual costs of the watch, its packing, a website , Paypal commission etc. including 42% income tax to any profit (thanks Italian Government).

You might know that this is not my job and I do not even have any plan to make it my job, so Im feeling pretty relaxed with this project, but in order to launch a small production I need to invest a significant ammount of money and I would need to understand how/if I could at least recover my costs plus a small margin that I will invest in a new project. A correct pricing policy is now fundamental to address all my questions and doubts.

Ive made a survey among all my friends, but the answers I got are extremely inconsistent since (I guess) very few of them are watch enthusiast willing to spend they well earned money and ever fewer might have an interest in a pilot watch.

So I would like to take advantage of you guys that somehow took part in this process and ask you: how much do you think the average potential customer would pay for this product?

A PM on this critical/complex question would be very much appreciated.

    Thank you.

I know nothing about the average potential customer, but I can tell you that I'd be willing to to go all the way to the top of my budget for this awesome watch. Unfortunately, the top is only like $250, and I have a feeling it's going to take more than that to get this funded :(
